National Guard Association of Kentucky (NGAKY) Legislative Committee
The NGAKY Legislative Committee exists to support legislative proposals and initiatives of the National Guard Association of Kentucky. These proposals and initiatives ultimately provide further benefits and opportunities for our members and the Soldiers & Airmen of the Kentucky National Guard. As the voice of the National Guard in Frankfort and Washington, NGAKY provides a path for Kentucky National Guard men and women to elevate their concerns to the state and national level. Our lobbying power and the strength of our voice comes from our membership. Our members, families, employers and the Soldiers and Airmen we lead represent a very large voting bloc and are in every Congressional and Legislative district in the Commonwealth.
In addition, members also enjoy specific benefits that provide immediate support to families today. NGAKY offers various insurance products to Guard members and their families, and our sister organization, the Kentucky National Guard Historical Foundation, provides scholarships to the children of current and former members of the Kentucky National Guard.
